History - Rewritten by The DS Cricketers

DSCN0211.JPG

Adventure minded DS sons - U/19 Cricket Team volunteered to rewrite the history by  participating in a Cricket Encounter with the spirit of enhancing the goodwill between the North and the South, in a Cricket Encounter with  St Patric Central College Jaffna at their College Grounds.

The critics view this more than a Cricket Encounter, since the venue and the occasion rejuvanete the mentalities of  both the North and the South  to convey the peaceful message of the cessation of three decades military conflict shadowed and clouded in this peninsula. Thereby  DS sons become trend setters to the fellow school Cricketers in Sri Lanka of signalling no fear , no hesitation or shocking waves in tress passing Jaffna peninsula.

This costly and hectic sheduled was the real motivation of Dr AShoka Senani Hewage being the President of School Cricket Association and the Principal of D.S.Senanayake College - Sir, We salute your bold decision  .

The most noteworthy point is that DS cricketers together with Mr Manjula Galappaththi MIC Cricket were warmly welcomed and hosted fraternally. School wing anticipates to develop this  Encounter to a Champion Trophy Tournament.

Hail the Bravo.................  DS Cricketers.................!
