25 Air Force cadets of D..Senanayake College will be participating in a trainining camp session from     26th July to 2nd August in Rantambe Trianing Camp

"Cadet Nght " will be organised on the 25th of July at School grounds. Principal   Dr Ashoka Senani Hewage  will be the Chief Guest 

DS Ruggerites dominated Mahanamians at Inter School Rugger Tournaments in a high tone bringing all the laurels to College

Our Ruggerites' superb  performance bewildered  the opponents and thrilled the spectators.

DS u/14 Rugger team has become the sheild champs displaying thier versatile calibre at the All Island Inter School  u/14 Rugger Tournament ,  bagging  the second place in School grading , concluded at the CR and FC  Grounds Colombo

DS  U/14 Rugger  Team   bagged  the Championship  Cup at the  Western Province Inter Sc hool Rugger Tournament  held at Royal College recently.

This victory was most exclusive because  our ruggerits were able  to defeat Prince of wales College and Thurstan College Teams . More over Final Match was played against Mahanama College with a score of 35 for 0.

In the Western Province   Inter School  U/16   Rugby Tournament ,  DS emerged Champions  beating Royal college Panadura , in the recently concluded  Rugby  Match   scoring 17 to nil .

 The annual rugby encounter between Our College and Mahanama College, Colombo took place in a grand scale at Royal Sports Complex recently.

The results were as follows :

* The Under - 12 Rugby team which was lead by Shaween Perera bagged champions scoring 14 - 0.

* The Under - 14 Rugby team lead by K. A. Anushanka emerged champions of the Capt. Chananaka Attanayake Challege Shield scoring 26 - 7.

While,

The Under 20 Team lead by Sachith Premaratne, after a very intensive game, was very dissapointing to hear that they lost by 3 points when the game ended with a final score of 12 - 15.

The administrative staff together with the proud senanayakians congratulates them on their achievement and performance and wish then the very best in the years to come! (:

Lionish   Ruggerites  - U/16  of  D.S .Senanayake College  snatched the Inter School Cup Champion to  establish their  former achievements of  Western Province Inter School Championship  Tournament  2007 and Western Province Inter school League Cup Championship - culminating to regain  Jafar Sathar Challenge Trophy after   luminous  alumnus of our alma mater after 2 years , at the  DS -Thurstan  Rugger Encounter.

Hard snatching D.S. Rugger players - U /12  teams A &  B made an excellent performance  at the Western Province U/12 Inter School Rugger Tournament, held at  St Peters Grounds  yesterday. Rugger A Team excelled as runners up at the plate championship, while the B team bagging the runners up title in the cup championship category.

Under the captaincy of Rajitha Akash DS u/14  Rugger Team showed their valour in a neck to neck confrontation -DS vs Ananda - in Inter School Western Province  Rugger tournament,   excelling as runners up.
