D.S.Senanayake College  u/15  100*4  Athletics  team bagged the  second place at the Sri Lanka    schools junior athletics championship meet at Wennappuwa Alfred Peiris  Grounds.

The team comprised Kasun Gunawardhana , Yasas Rashmika, Heshan Gallage, Kasun Dangalle

A prominent  Athlete -  Isuru Udana of D.S.Senanayake College -   won a gold medal in the triple jump in Junior Athletic  Championship  meet  held in Brunai, bringing  International glory to the motherland and the Alma Mater. Also he represented  Sri Lanka in the same event at the South Asian Athletic Competition 2007.
