D. S .Senanayake College - Leadership
Mr. D.M.D. Dissanayake as the new Principal of the College, assumed duties on 23rd of September, 2010.He is a brilliantstudent A/Palagalla Maha Vidyalaya and graduated in the University of Peradeniya
He is an SLEAS - Class I officer. He joined the state service as a teacher in 1990, consequently joined the Sri Lanka Education Administrative service from an open competitive exam. He has an immaculate professional carrier as a senior deputy principal of Ananda College Colombo, D.S.Senanayake College Colombo and Kekirawa Central College. His long standing experience as a senior deputy principal in school and class room management is untarnished. Later he contributed his ineffable potentials to the Ministry of Education as a Director of Education in human resources development unit. Also he headed the programme of principal training and future leaders of the schools. He has had an international exposure in state-of-the-Art current methods of human resource development.
With a basic degree from the University of Peradeniya, he is possessing a Msc on Human Resource planning and Human Resource Development ,completed under the scholarship on Human Resource Development ,offered by the Indian Government.
He has a Global touch in school Management by claiming the postgraduate diploma from the post Graduate Management Institute of Sri Jayawardanapura University and following certificated courses in school management in Australia and Singapore.
