Charity Work conscious Senanayake sons have volunteered  to hold two "Dansals "  coinciding the Wesak festival -2010 . These Dansals were organised by the Prefects Guild and the Red Cross society of the College .

This great task was highly appreciated by the public thronging to the city for admiring Wesak  and sight seeing after the  liquidation  of 3 decade long LTTE War machine . It was  a  forecourt for the tiresome visitors to the city from all corners of the Island in refreshment wise . The optimum was donating  two milch cows to the Gangarama temple consequently they were taken to be rared in a much more spacious pasture in the suburb. All these noble activities were closely  scrutinised by the Principal Dr Ashoka Senani Hewage and the staff members.

Glad to say other children  actively participated in the Gangarama Wesak lantern competition and also lighting more than 2000 oil lamps from the Primary Gate to the Main gate in Front of the school.

May the blessings of Wesak  bring peace to the mankind................................!
