At the recently concluded International School Awards ceremony held athe British Council senanayakians entered the International arena by winning the International School Award.

The theme of this award is to support and develop the schools in the following : 

• An international ethos embedded throughout the school
• A majority of pupils within the school impacted by and involved in international work
• Collaborative curriculum-based work with a number of partner schools
• Curriculum-based work across a range of subjects
• Year round international activity
• Involvement of partner schools and the wider community in the UK

This was a great collective effort of the principal, Dr. Asoka Senani Hewage together with Deputy Principal Sumedha Jayaweera, Partnership Co-ordinator,Mr.Rizan Hameed and the committee members, Mrs.Nimali Kuruppu and Mrs.Neetha Palihena.
