To mark the 2600th Smbuddha Jayanthi celebrations ,DSSC is busy with plenty of activities in "amisa" and "prathipaththi pooja".A week long program is in array blending with sil programmes , bana preaching, alms giving,erecting pandals in the vesak zone on the Gregorys road and the Bullers road and grand participation of the pupils making more than 400 Vesak Lanterns to gether with illuminating the school premises pictures quely the convertial . Vesak greeting card program, Bhakthi Gee program native to the college are other events of the program. It has been a most marking event that the school Buddhist Association has initiated is to face lift the shrine room in the schhol premises.
