While steering our Alma Mater to the zenith in curricular, co-curricular and extra curricular activities, the pillar behind the reawakening of all these successes of D.S.Senanayake College our principal Mr.Ashoka Senani Hewage - current president of School Cricket Association, president of the Association of Educational Administrative Service Official and the Deputy President of the School Football Federation represented the ASFF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING - ASFF GENERAL ASSEMBLY held on July 17th, 2008, Bangkok Thailand, bringing glory to the Island and D.S.Senanayake College.

This general Assembly meeting was held in conjunction with 3rd Asian Schools Football (U-15) Championship 2008. The venue was Charas Muang 2 Room, the Twin Towers Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand, which housed many representatives from Brunei Darussalam, China, Hong Kong China, Macao China, India, Indonesia, Malasiya, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.

Among the many objectives in the forum, ASFF PROGRAMME for 2009-2010, U-18 Championship, U-15 Championship were highlighted.
