Islamic Day 2008 organized by the Islamic Majlis of D.S Senanayake College took place on the 19th of November 2008 at the college main hall under the patronage of the Principal Dr. Asoka Senani Hewage. The chief guest of the event was the Resident Representative of the World Islamic Call Society, Bro. Adnan. A.M.El.Zarruge.The mix of several multimedia presentations was a new concept that added much color to the event. Also the synchronized Dances done by students of grades 4, 5 and 6 gave overall entertainment to the audience.
