Leadership conscious  DS prefects  yesterday  volunteered to perform  a public  awareness program of current threat of bomb blast at the public gatherings specially among the commuters in the public transport. They made them aware the precautionery steps and how to  identify the bombs placed in the buses . this social event brought sound response from the public . This was published in the LankaDeepa  News  paper , 18th of September 2008.

No doubt this type of  social programmes  lessen the threat  to the innocent lives and gain laurels  to the school.
