The Evening of Debating organised by the English Literary Association of D.S. Senanayake College , which is an unshakeable pillar promoting the sound usage of English among the school community and finally in the society. This was venued at Galleface Hotel on 13th June 2010 . 13 schools participated and out of which Ladies College and Royal College became the finalist.

This was such a dedicated effort of Mr Rizan Hameed -Master incharge of English Literary Association - who is always inhesitant and volunteering in uplifting the standard of English language in the College.

The great participation and commitment of the ELA pupils - paramountly inspired in creating standard Literry pieces is highly apprecaible and noteworthy

Our warmest congratulations for Ladies College and Royal College - becoming the champs and the Runners up respectively
