English Literary Association of D.S.Senanayake College , premiers of footing the Shakesperean linguistic and dramatic qualities on the open stage with the prime motive of reviving the Shakesperean dramatic concepts ,being extinct on the school stage has this time displayed their dramatic calibre keeping a neck to neck contesting spirit by bagging the second place in Inter school Shakespere Drama Competition 2008 ended up on 21st September, at the Bishops College Auditorium.

Their script was based on "Taming of the Shrew" .This achievement is ineffable because it was after 3 years of lulling period . According to the witnesses , costumes , stage props and the alround presentation with versatile actors with disguised actresses culminated with genuine Shakesperean dramatic qualities. No doubt the experience would pave the way to bag more achievements in time to come
