Most veteran and endeavouring D.S sons were awarded for their achievements at the Colors Nite ,held at the National Youth Service Centre on 25th of March 2011 under the auspices of Hon. Minister of Higher Education Mr. S.B. Dissanayake. This was a phenomenal success due to the close monitoring of the Principal D.M.D Dissanayake and the hardy effort of P.O.Gs, M.I.Cs , Staff members, OBA and S.D.A members, parents and well wishers.
