Being Champions in the Colombo-North Zone U17 Basketball Championship, DS paved their way to the All-island Basketball Championship.

Performing well on the 1^st round matches and crushing their opponents in the quarter final DS faced Mari Stella college in the semi final of the All-island Basketball U17 tournament and beat them by a score of 62 – 56.

Then being qualified to the Finals DS clashed with Azar Central Kandy and scores were tied with 67 – 67 when the final whistle was blown, then reaching in to extra time DS thrashed Azar Central by a lead of twelve points and won the U17 Basketball Championship of 2010 with scores of 82 – 70.

Devin Ariyakumara captaining the DS side and Naffeel Jalaldeen achieving the best – offensive player and Dasun Ransundara being the Best- Defensive player. DS Sends a message to all the teams that will be arrivals in the future.
