D.S.Senanayake College proudly announce the commencement of the Battle of Gold - 2009 will be held on the 26th ,27th of March at S.S.C Grounds Friendly match between teachers of both schools will take place on the 25th of March . One day limited over match will be held on the 29th at S.S.C grounds

The cricket match between the prefects of D.S.Senanayke College and the Mahanama College was concluded recently. Kushan Perera was selected the best batsman while Kanishka Fernando was the best baller. Nuwan Sri Sampath bagged the best wicket keeper award. D.S.Senanayake College won by 3 wickets.
