Layannmith Dikson of D.S.Senanayake College was qualified for the semi finals under 17 the aged category in singles' from the badminton tournament held at Royal College Indoor Stadium. In the same, Damith Yatawara bagged the 3 rd place in singles under 15 aged category.

Also Layannmith Dikson became the runner-up representing the doubles under 17 the aged category in doubles under 15th Damith Yatawara wasd qualified for the semi finals.
