Media day was successfully held on  1st of June 2007 at B.M.I.C.H. Chief Guest was Mr Arjuna Ranawaka  Chairman of the Media Schools under the patronage  of the Principal Mr Ashoka Hewage  The certificate awarding ceremony was enthusiastic. Over 682 competitors from112 schools all over the island participated in the" All Island Media Competition" The event of "All island joint project" which was organised by one of the members of the media  circle was highly appreciated
